Vendor Booth Guidelines Important information for groups interested in a vendor booth for the Dia de Portugal Festival 2008
PLEASE READ ALL THIS INFORMATION CAREFULLY!

Eligibility
Any group or business is eligible to have a vendor booth.
Items Sold
Vendor booth groups may feature any kind of items for sale.
FOOD CAN NOT BE SOLD AT A VENDOR BOOTH!
Trash Removal
Vendor booths will be responsible for disposing of all trash in public trash cans. We will have plenty made available in the vendor area. A clean-up crew will periodically collect trash from trash cans.
Set-up & Take-down
Vendor booths set-up time is from 7-9:30 AM. All vehicles must be off the History Park San Jose grounds by 9:30 AM. The area should be set-up and ready by festival start time of 10AM. Take-down begins immediately at 6PM. At the end of the festival, vendors should arrange to dispose of all trash properly.
Electricity
We can have an electrical outlet made available, however, you need to indicate all the types of equipment you will be using so we can ensure that we will provide adequate voltage to your station (we will ask for this under Load Sheet in the Food Booth Application).

Booth Arrangement
We will arrange to have a basic 10'x10' canopy with one 8-foot table and two chairs for each group. Layout and booth location will be assigned by the Dia de Portugal Committee. If you choose to bring your own set up, your canopy MUST BE GREEN. Please confirm with festival organizers if your equipment will be accepted.
Signage
Vendor booths are responsible for your own signage. You might want to bring extra signage or décor to add flavor and visibility to your booth.
Participation Fees
For-profits groups are charged $100 to cover the cost of booth rental and electrical costs. Non-Profit groups are charged a discounted fee of $50. Please make checks payable to "PHSC".
